TL;DR
Problem
Busy restaurants lose time to paper orders, missed dishes and slow bills — and many ordering apps take a commission on every order.
What I built
A multi-restaurant SaaS with screens for guests, waiters, the kitchen and the counter, plus a super-admin panel to run client restaurants.
Business model
Restaurants pay a monthly plan from ₹399 + GST. Guests pay the restaurant directly, and MenuMesh takes no commission.
01Scan
Each table has its own QR code. Guests scan it and the menu opens, already tied to their table — no app, no login.
02Order
They pick dishes, options and add-ons, in English or Hindi. Friends at the same table can order from their own phones, round after round.
03Cook and serve
Waiters see the order straight away, and the kitchen gets it once a waiter takes the table. Every dish moves from placed to preparing, ready and served, and the guest sees it move too.
04Bill and pay
One tap makes the bill with the table's dishes, GST and other charges. It prints on 80 mm or 58 mm receipt printers, payment is recorded as cash, UPI or card, and the table is free for the next guests.

- Table QR ordering, with the menu in English and Hindi. Dish names are written in Hindi automatically and can be edited.
- First orders need approval, which stops prank orders.
- A live, colour-coded staff board for waiters; a kitchen view on Growth and Pro.
- One-tap bills with GST and service charge.
- Set up the menu from a photo of the printed menu, or from a PDF or CSV.
- Keeps saving dish updates through a short Wi-Fi drop.
- Discounts, split payments, a UPI QR code on the bill, advanced and waiter reports, and CSV export on Growth and Pro.

How this was built
I designed the product — the guest, waiter, kitchen and counter flows — and made the architecture and product decisions. Claude Code wrote much of the implementation.
